benchmarks for Occupational Health and Safety, workplace
amenity, laboratory flexibility and technical execution.
Space circulation, structural systems and integration of advanced
technologies are layered to provide an efficient yet flexible
environment that will easily adapt to meet future change.
The 35,000m² facilities include the following laboratories – cell
biology/molecular biology; chemistry and computational biology
(bioinformatics); insect, fish and rodent facilities; high field
strength NMR & cryo-electron microscopy; and PC2 & PC3
level containment laboratories. The facility includes a 300 seat
auditorium with separate public access.
