the MCG, providing state-of-the-art facilities in entertainment for
60,000 spectators, over four tiers.

Accommodation includes function and banquet rooms corporate
boxes and seating and basement car parking beneath the
stadium.

Redevelopment replaced the Ponsford, Member’s and Northern
stands and delivered state-of-the-art facilities for 55,000
spectators, bringing the total capacity of the MCG to 100,000.
The new stand introduces an iconic, cantilevered cable-net
roofing structure and glazed edge to the roof that minimises
shadowing over the playing surface.

The Melbourne Cricket Club has a 500 seat Member’s Dining
Room, a new Long Room, and Committee Room. Members, the
media, corporate sponsors and sports coaches enjoy prime views
and general spectators enjoy excellent sight lines and weather
protection from every seat. Each of the MCG stands is now
connected on each level and the entire MCG can be evacuated
in 15 minutes. A range of food concessions, bars, function rooms
and cafes at the ground level maximise trading opportunities.
